Acquisition & Disposals

In line with client requirements, Haydon Consulting adopts a pro-active approach to sourcing appropriate and often, off-market assets for acquisition. This is made possible through long-standing working relationships and close, frequent contact with a broad and varied network of residential and commercial agents, auctioneers, LPA receivers, financial institutions, property companies and funds. Advice is also frequently provided to clients on the various options and preferred strategy for disposal of assets.

Project Facilitation & Delivery

Haydon Consulting often acts in a facilitator role for clients, particularly in circumstances of acquisition, funding, procurement, the planning process, bringing key parties together or mediating between parties in existing negotiations.

Through addressing negotiations with a fair, balanced and reasoned rationale, coupled with utilising strong dialogue with a dense and diverse contact base of key stakeholders; we aim to provide clients with effective solutions, rather than additional, unnecessary and protracted exposure.

Strategic Communications

A key area for Haydon Consulting is providing political and strategic consultancy to clients. It's inevitable that at certain stages within the process of procuring a project (from a pocket windfall site to strategic schemes), there comes a time when engagement with key stakeholders and the Local Authority is essential. The result of such engagement will have a direct bearing on the efficiency of a project, often determining whether it even succeeds or not.

Haydon benefits from having a strong and healthy working relationship with civil servants and political leaderships within the public sector; and also with key private sector stakeholders in the Sussex (Greater Brighton) region. This means that discussions can be brokered and negotiations initiated at the earliest possible juncture, with the most appropriate elected members, civil servants, key stakeholders and press offices, on behalf of our Clients.

Haydon also provides assistance in ensuring that clients comprehensively encompass a local community in public consultation exercises throughout a projects lifespan and that the associated public affairs strategy is optimum for the cause, communicating the intended message to those that matter.
